World Book Day 4th March 2021
It’s that time of year again. The frantic last-minute rush for an outfit. Or questioning your crafting abilities as a WFH parent in between zoom calls. I read that one school isn’t wanting their students to dress up this year but rather decorate a potato as their favourite character…I’m not quite sure which seems more daunting.
We love playing dress up in this house. Our 4 year old has a vivid imagination, role play games can last for hours as he gets into character and woe betide anyone who falls out of character before the game is finished! Needless to say, World Book Day is right up our street!
So when I got an email from the publishers of the Little People Big Dreams books with some cute ideas, I was thrilled and wanted to share a few of them with you guys for some inspiration – to channel some inspirational folk! (I've linked each of the books that we have on the website too)
Here we go...
First up, the main man himself, a total legend - David Attenborough
For the more flamboyant adventurous types - Elton John
For the flamboyant, fashionista girls - Vivienne Westwood
Finally, the change-maker - Rosa Parks
Whoever your little ones choose to be this week, we'd love to see your efforts!

PS. I will be channelling my inner Coco Chanel on Thursday - ditching the leggings and adding some pearls
